MyGolana is a US-based digital healthcare company. They started as a response to the rapidly growing mental health crisis and the lack of truly convenient and cost-effective counseling solutions.

They have developed an innovative online platform that delivers high quality counseling services across the globe at an unprecedented level of Accessibility, Affordability, and Accountability.

They have a roster of certified and highly-educated counselors that are dedicated to tackling the mental health crisis.

The Challenge

MyGolana brought us in right before they launched the alpha and beta versions of their website. Many features were currently in development but they needed to lay the ground work of their marketing strategies already.

They wanted to register and onboard beta users in order to test the platform and get much-needed feedback from their target markets.

However, it is quite tricky to build trust and brand equity for a new startup company in the healthcare industry.

Our Approach

We focused on building this trust by creating content and video marketing campaigns around their counselors. We figured that if we wanted to communicate empathy, we needed to get personal with our personnel. We showed the human side of the business in an attempt to gain trust of our users online.

We reached out to our customer persons through clever targeting measures and timely content. We also had to consider Facebook’s advertising policies on promoting services around healthcare.
